It’s Unboxing Time!

Last month I actually finally broke down and bought the John Wick 1-3 Stash Book Collection. I was hesitant because I already owned the movies. It was a cool looking set, and I only had the second movie on 4K. Then I shot the video but never got around to posting it because of end of the school year and podcast stuff.

With the release of the Best Buy exclusive steelbook for Chapter 4, I realized I should get both these videos uploaded.

Here’s the incredibly cool box set for the first three movies along with the bonus items you get.

This really stands out as a box set. Usually we’ll be lucky to get a semi-fancy “box” holding the separate movies. They really went all out by creating the book with the hidden compartment. The pictures were a really nice touch.

Now the big question is–should you track down the Stash Book Collection?

One of the driving factors for me was, I didn’t want to miss out on it. Once they sell out, there’s a good chance you won’t be able to get it again, unless it’s on the secondary market at a higher price. The fact that there is a fourth movie that is now separate from the set, as well as the fact that a fifth movie is somehow in the works, might make some want to wait.

That makes perfect sense. I just couldn’t find myself waiting since I love these movies. There’s also the fact that who knows when the fifth movie will actually film and be released. I’ll deal with fighting the urge of buying an uber-box set later when the time comes.
