Did you know the Cat in the Hat is back? He’s back in a way you might not expect.
Earlier this year, Random House Children’s Books published a new Dr. Seuss book featuring the Cat in the Hat. You might be saying you’ve already read Dr. Seuss Cat in the Hat books but this time it’s different.
Art Baltazar, famous cartoonist, has been tasked with bringing the mischievous cat back. You’ve probably read Art’s Aw Yeah Comics books with Action Cat and Adventure Bug, Drew and Jot, or Tiny Titans (with Franco) at DC Comics.
At San Diego Comic-Con, Art talked about how he came on board with Dr. Seuss and what his approach to the character is.
As you can see, this isn’t your typical Dr. Seuss book. If you’ve ready any of Art’s books before, you know how hilarious and creative his writing is. His art style is simply adorable.
If you’re looking for a cool graphic novel and are feeling nostalgic over Dr. Seuss characters, check this book out. It’s great for kids and adults. The graphic novel format will also ensure kids won’t simply devour it in a couple minutes and then ask for something else.
