It’s Unwrapping Time!
This week we’re looking at the recently released limited edition steelbook for Stanely Kubrick’s The Shining.
For some reason, this is one of my favorite movies. I own it on VHS and also purchased a 4K digital copy. I’m looking forward to popping the 4K disc in and checking it out, even though I just watched it again a few weeks ago.
Because I love the movie, I’ve been wanting a steelbook version. There was another one recently released on a yellow background with text (I believe) making a maze on the cover. I’ve seen people complain about the simplicity of this version, but I dig it.

I have read the book and can appreciate the differences between the two. Surprisingly, those differences don’t bother me. We just simply get two cool versions of the same story.
