It’s Unwrapping Time!
This week we’re checking out the just released vinyl picture disc for Bon Jovi’s third album. Slippery When Wet was released on August 18, 1986. It shot them to mainstream fame with hits like “You Give Love a Bad Name,” “Livin’ on a Prayer,” and “Wanted Dead or Alive.”
Universal Music just released a limited edition “wet” picture disc. You may have heard the story of the cover and what was supposed to be the original one. You can hear about and check out the vinyl in the video below:
I did debate whether or not to get this album. After I did, I wasn’t sure if it was something I really needed. Once I opened it, I am glad I did order it. It is an album I like to have in my collection. I’m happy to own this version and thrilled they included an actual sleeve for it.
