Unwrapping: Taylor Swift and Post Malone Fortnight and Nirvana Tribute Record Store Day Vinyl Records

It’s Unwrapping Time!

I actually meant to post these last week. It’s two unwrappings this week.

The first is the really cool Nirvana Tribute by Post Malone. Apparently on April 24, 2020, he did a livestream tribute (with Travis Barker, Nick Mack, and Brian Lee). They raised a bunch of money for charity. If that wasn’t enough, 100% of net proceeds in connection with the sale of this vinyl will be donated to Musicares’s Addiction Recovery/Mental Health division.

Check out the vinyl and packaging:

Post Malone was also the Record Store Day Ambassador this year.

This wasn’t the only release by Post Malone. There was also 45″/single release for “Fortnight” by Taylor Swift, featuring Post Malone. What makes this release unique compared to the version on the various copies of her Tortured Poets releases is one of the remix versions is included.

Check that one out:

Post Malone’s Nirvana Tribute was limited to 17,000 copies. The Fortnight single has an undisclosed print run.

There are other Record Store Day releases I still have to unwrap. Stay tuned for more.
