Unwrapping: Linkin Park – From Zero Deluxe Edition – Translucent Emerald Green Vinyl

It’s Unwrapping Time!

I actually filmed a couple other videos but never got around to posting them. Still figuring out if there’s interest here seeing the new vinyl releases.

This week we’re taking a look at the Deluxe Edition of Linkin Park’s From Zero. The album was first released November 15, 2024. This new edition was released last Friday, May 16. The deluxe edition includes three new songs plus five live recordings.

Check out how glorious that emerald green vinyl is.

I do really like the album. I don’t really like the fact that bands are now releasing deluxe versions within a year of the first release. Obviously they are likely holding back on the full content so they can do this. It leaves a bad taste in your mouth.

Sure, we, as consumers, always have the option of simply not purchasing the double-dipping version. It does put your loyalty as a fan to the test. As mentioned in the video, at least blink-182 gave the option of purchasing the deluxe version or just the deluxe version songs separately as a single vinyl.

Meanwhile, stay tuned for next week’s unwrapping of Green Day’s Deluxe version. I do feel like a sucker…
