Last week continued the look-back at the early days and mystery of the Hobgoblin. In The Amazing Spider-Man #249, Hobgoblin set out to blackmail several high society fellas, including Harry Osborn. Peter Parker went along with his friend to the meet for moral support. When he changed into Spider-Man to confront Hobgoblin, he got hit by a dose of the Green Goblin’s spider-sense nullifier gas.
