It’s Unwrapping Time!
The physical media release of Fallout Season 1 was July 8, 2025. I finally managed to get a hold of one. The 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray Steelbook has some pretty cool art on the case and inside. It also includes “collectible art cards,” which are nice and sturdy. It feels like they really put time and care into making this rather than just slap stuff together.

As mentioned in the video, and if you listen to the Random Podcast From Heck, I never managed to finish watching the first season. I intended to cover it for the podcast. If I remember correctly, it was the release format that made it difficult for me. When too many episodes or the entire season, are released, it puts me behind. I believe there was also a few other shows I was covering at the time so I couldn’t keep up.
It’s a lame excuse, I know. But now I can watch and rewatch the show at my leisure. I don’t have to worry about ads or buffering or the show suddenly disappearing from streaming (which it won’t for a while). Plus, I’m just a sucker for a really nice looking steelbook.
