Last week’s episode continued the look-back at the early appearances of the Hobgoblin. After several months, Spider-Man and Hobgoblin finally faced each other once again. After losing Norman Osborn’s original Green Goblin journals, Hobgoblin is certain Osborn must have made back up copies. He attempts to coerce Harry Osborn to turn them over even though Harry doesn’t know if any even exist. Luckily Spider-Man’s been keeping a close eye on Harry and shows up to trade blows with Hobgoblin.
Unfortunately for Spider-Man and Harry, Hobgoblin had a contingency in place which involved kidnapping Harry’s wife, Liz, and Mary Jane, since she was with Liz and also because Liz is super-pregnant and the thugs didn’t want to have to deal with a pregnant lady if she went into labor. More on that in this week’s episode.
