It’s Unwrapping Time!
This time around, we’re looking at the new steelbook for the 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray for M3GAN 2.0. I don’t think the movie was a huge box office smash, but I thought it was fun. I liked that they mixed up the formula from the first movie and didn’t make it just another killer doll/slasher movie. Apparently, other people didn’t like that.

One thing I really like about this steelbook is the purple. I wasn’t always a big purple fan, aside from Prince’s Purple Rain. I think I really started grooving on it when HBO Max first launched and had that really nice purple color. Then when they rebranded to just Max, they went with a kind of generic blue. But I digress.

You might ask, why am I buying these movies when they’re usually streaming somewhere. I’ve mentioned before that it’s all about the physical media. While movies are often streaming somewhere, there are times when they aren’t. Sometimes it might switch to a streaming network you’re not subscribing to.
There are also the extras that you don’t get with the streamers. This collection also has an unrated version of the movie. What does that mean? Will it be more violent? Will there be more weird robot dancing? I’ll find out when I watch it. If you don’t buy the Blu-ray, you might never know.
