Unwrapping: Fantastic Four: First Steps 4K Blu-ray Steelbook

Guess what? It’s Unwrapping Time, again!

This time we’re looking at the latest Marvel Studios release for this year, Fantastic Four: First Steps. I enjoyed the movie. Seems like some may have had issues with it. I don’t feel like I heard many people talking about it aside from the strange Marvel-bashing that seems to be something people enjoy. There was also a lot of people comparing it to James Gunn’s Superman.

I’ve made my opinion clear on both, not that they really should be compared. You can hear my thoughts on the Fantastic Four’s adventure HERE.

As for the steelbook, I hardly ever buy a new movie unless I can get the steelbook. There are some exceptions. But here, you can see what the steelbook looks like.

There was another version that was released. I think it was an Amazon exclusive that included a comic and maybe some cards. The problem is the price was like $75 or so. What I liked about that one was it has a Phil Noto cover.

But with the money I save by not getting that, I could buy another steelbook. I believe that comic was a SDCC exclusive. So it wasn’t entirely unique to this set.

Regardless, I have a cool steelbook for the movie. Let me know what you think of either version.
