It’s Unwrapping Time!
This time we’re looking at something that has been out for a couple years, but it’s new to my collection- – the Criterion Collection release of Trainspotting in 4K. As a big Ewan McGregor fan, I saw this when it first came out. It can be a little tough to watch at times because of the sad and heavy content. There are also some pretty hilarious moments. Based off a novel, which I actually purchased a used copy when I was in Scotland in 2015, the movie is pretty amazing.
I haven’t had a chance to watch the 4K version yet. I’ve read some reviews on the difference and upgrade to the color and so forth. There is also an uncut version, which I can’t remember if I’ve ever seen.
Take a look at the packaging for the Criterion Collection release. There’s also something pretty cool about the cover.
