It’s Unwrapping Time!
This time we’re going to look at the new home release for The Long Walk. The steelbook for the 4K Ultra. HD Blu-ray is actually an Amazon-Exclusive. It was released on November 25, 2025. It was also released on regular Blu-ray and DVD. The regular 4K non-steelbook version won’t be released until December 23. Guess Amazon got themselves an exclusive window.
I really enjoyed the movie when I saw it in the theater back in September. You can hear about the movie and my thoughts HERE. The movie is based on the Stephen King novel and was directed by Francis Lawrence.

I’m not sure what the regular price for this will be. Amazon prices seem to fluctuate. Since I pre-ordered it, I got the lowest price guaranteed thing, which is nice. There is apparently an alternate ending which is different from the theatrical cut. I’m really looking forward to that. My jaw dropped when I saw the movie in the theater. No spoilers.
