There’s a crazy amount of comics released each week. Here’s a look at some of the strangest, coolest, and funniest things you might have missed in last week’s comics. Best Description Of Coffee
As previously seen, Clint Barton, like many of us, loves his coffee. He describes it as “that sweet, sweet life juice.” He’s still drinking it straight out of the coffee pot. Sadly, that coffee pot won’t survive the entire issue.
Best Reason It’s Hard To Keep Up With The X-Men’s Roster
Hawkeye has decided to work with Mysterio, and they need to tell Logan what Miss Sinister, Sin, and Crossbones have planned. Obviously Mysterio has to take on another guise since Logan is determined to kill him as soon as he sees him. Trying to masquerade as an X-Man becomes difficult because they tend to die often. It’s hard to keep track of who’s alive and who’s dead.

Best Reaction To Hearing About The Wonder Twins’ Powers
You have to admit the Wonder Twins have some wacky powers. It’s always been odd to think about and part of the charm of the characters. When Wonder Woman and Batman first hear about them, Diana’s words pretty much says it all.
Best Reason For Superheroes To Organize How They Respond To Crime
When Superman gives the Wonder Twins a tour of the Hall of Justice, he explains the need for having a superhero dispatch center. Too often many heroes arrived at a simple crime or a hero arrived to deal with something that wasn’t really something they were best equipped to handle.
Best Reason Not To Blurt Out A Response If You’re Not Totally Familiar With Another Language This Week

Best Lost (TV Show) Reference
Spider-Man and Deadpool just had a crazy adventure in the Negative Zone. Arriving in New York, they discover the place has gone through some apocalyptic event. When they hear a voice inside a giant smoke cloud, Deadpool immediately thinks about the TV show Lost.
Best Fantastic Four #1 Homage
As Spider-Man and Deadpool try to find out what’s been going on, they’re suddenly attacked and it looks just like the cover to the first issue of Fantastic Four. Even Deadpool notices.
Detective Comics #998
Best Example Batman Has Contingencies For Everything
They say Batman can take on anyone. They say he’s always prepared. We see his Hellbat suit and the description as to how it was made. You have to wonder if coming up with different suits and gadgets is all Batman does during his down time.
Blackbird #5
Best Reason To Listen To Your Magically Revived, Opposite Speaking, Cursed Cat
Family members often fight. When magic is suddenly thrown into the mix, the stakes are raised. Nina has had it tough lately and is tired of dealing with all the crap thrusted upon her. She tries reacting towards her sister but the magic spell she uses doesn’t have the effect she thought it would.

Best Looking Flashback This Week
Maybe I’m just biased since I loved the classic Hobgoblin stories, but we get a really cool looking flashback sequence dealing with the death of Ned Leeds when he was framed as being the villain.
Superman #8
Best Way For Superman To Deal With His Frustration
Superman is trying to deal with the events that followed when his son Jonathan went out into space with Jor-El. Luckily Mongul was nearby plotting some nefarious scheme.
Thor #10
Best Depiction Of Trying To Please Certain Family Members
We’ve all been there, right? No matter what incredible and awesome things we might accomplish, there seems to be someone that will simply rain on your parade. In this issue, we can see some of what Thor’s had to deal with when it comes to his father, Odin.
Supergirl #27
Best Reason Supergirl’s Caring Ways Is Her Greatest Strength
Supergirl is tough. You don’t want to get on her bad side. You also don’t want to threaten someone she cares for. Get a load of this alien she’s fighting. That’s gonna leave a mark for sure.
Unbeatable Squirrel Girl #41
Best Example You Can’t Always Tell What A Hero Is Implying
We often see Spider-Man winking or squinting. Realistically, this wouldn’t be possible due to the fact he’s wearing a mask. In this issue, we see what it’d look like if Spider-Man winked and the artist didn’t bend the rules of physics to make his mask reflect his facial gesture.

Best Return Of A Hero You Probably Forgot About
I’m embarrassed to admit it, but I completely forgot about Bunker, the gay Mexican hero who debuted in Teen Titans during 2011’s New 52 relaunch. Aside from the importance of representation for different readers, he was a fun and cool character. Hopefully he’ll be appearing again since he’s been in comic book limbo for some time now.

Best Reason Web-Swinging Is Safer Than The Subway
You would think swinging high above the city on webs would be a dangerous way to travel. As Gwen points out, she’s seen way more muggers on the subway than in the air.

If you’re a hero and don’t care too much about property damage, smashing through a window is a great way to make a big entrance. It’ll definitely catch the bad guys by surprise.
Age of X-Man: NextGen #1
Best Names For Chicken
In this strange alternate X-Men reality, Glob takes care of chicken and he’s named them after dead X-Men. He’s asked why he would give them boy names, and Glob just tells them to mind their own business. Leave Glob alone!
Although that “X-Hens” line was a good one.
The Flash #64
Best Way To Tell If Someone Is A Little Obsessed
It’s one thing to have posters or pictures of those you admire on your wall. Batman and the Flash find something a bit more than just that. Batman realizes that perhaps he hasn’t properly helped out Gotham Girl.
