Last week featured a look back at World’s Finest #145 from 1964. Batman gets transported to an alien world with a prison for superheroes. The aliens that built it want him to be the warden since he’s so good at security stuff. The bizarre thing is Batman ends up actually becoming the warden and is a pretty mean and cruel one. He shows absolutely no mercy when Superman arrives, looking for Batman, and ends up getting locked up himself.

This week will likely be another bizarre look back at a weird Silver Age book.
