This summer, you’ll be able to read all about Superman’s origin. Chances are, you already know about how Superman got his start. What makes this different is this will be Frank Miller and John Romita Jr’s definitive origin. The series will also be released under DC Comics’ Black Label imprint.
Superman: Year One is a coming-of-age story. We’ll see the Man of Steel as a young alien-boy trying to figure out where he belongs in the world and how he’ll fit in. The influence the Kents place on him shapes his humanity as he deals with trying to hide his true heritage and developing superpowers. Readers will get to see what choices Clark Kent makes and how that will shape him into the character we all know.
