Eddie Brock currently has his hands full as Venom going up against Carnage in the Absolute Carnage comic event. As if fighting the resurrected Cletus Kasady and the Carnage Cult wasn’t bad enough, it looks like things are going to get even worse for Venom.

Marvel’s teasers typically contain little information. The images they release tend to speak volumes. This image definitely says a lot.
Aside from the question of what is Venom Island, the big unknown is: Is Venom and/or Eddie going to die?
Donny Cates’ run on Venom has been pretty stellar so it’d be hard to believe the main character would be killed off. Then again, comic characters “die” pretty frequently and are “resurrected” later.
We’ll have to wait until December to get some answers. While the teaser is pretty grim, at least we can look forward to seeing more art by Mark Bagley.
