You may already have November 29th marked on your calendar. Harley Quinn is coming to you via the streaming DC Universe service. The animated show featuring Kaley Cuoco is absolutely not for kids.
DC/Warner Bros. has dropped a new trailer today and shows it’s not afraid to deliver violence and profanity.
The show is definitely channeling an Amanda Conner/Jimmy Palmiotti vibe. That’s a great thing. It’s also nice to see appearances from other characters like Joker, Batman, and Poison Ivy. Seeing a Wonder Woman cameo is also pretty amazing. There’s no reason for the show to shy away from being in the DC Universe.
The remaining question is: What will the stories be like? Seeing a violent and unrestrained Harley is fantastic, but having some substance with our violence and profanity would be nice.
It begins on November 29 on DC Universe. The show joins the ranks of other quality shows like Titans, Doom Patrol, and Young Justice that makes it worth subscribing to the service.
