Have you been watching His Dark Materials on HBO? The first season finale airs Monday, December 23. Maybe you’ve read the books by Philip Pullman. The synopsis of the show is:
“A young girl is destined to liberate her world from the grip of the Magisterium which represses people’s ties to magic and their animal spirits known as daemons.”
The show features Dafne Keen, Ruth Wilson, James McAvoy. There’s also an armored polar bear. I’ve been talking about it every week on the Random Podcast From Heck. I enjoyed the books and the show is pretty cool.
I received a big box in the mail the other day and was really surprised to see what was inside. Take a look.
This box is freakin’ amazing. So much detail. The letter describing some of my “traits” was a little weird. That just shows how it was tailored specifically for me. I really nice and impressive touch. This is how you do promo materials. Bravo to all involved. I do feel honored to have been selected to have my own daemon. The fact that I really enjoy the show makes it even better.
