Looks like the end of the world is coming…again.
In the first season of The Umbrella Academy, Five warned the family that if he used his powers so they could escape from the apocalypse Vanya was going to bring in 2019, it could be risky. It turns out, he was right.
The siblings have been scattered time around Dallas, Texas in the early 60s. Some have been in the past longer than others and have started to build lives for themselves thinking the others didn’t make it. When Five arrives, there’s a nuclear doomsday coming, which, of course, is a result of the siblings disrupting the timeline.
Now the family has to find a way to get back together and stop another apocalypse. If that wasn’t difficult enough, they’re also being hunted by a trio of Swedish assassins.

The Umbrella Academy is based on the Dark Horse comic by Gerard Way and Gabriel Bá.
The song in the trailer, “Here Comes The End” is an original song and was written by Way. He made the following statement about it:
“I was originally inspired to write this track when series one of The Umbrella Academy was being shot; by the time I finished it 2020 was in full swing, the world had taken a profound turn and the song was finished in a surreal new reality.“
The Umbrella Academy Season 2 drops on Netflix on July 31.
