We may not be getting movies in the Marvel Cinematic Universe because of the pandemic which has shut down most theaters. The latest rumor is Black Widow, originally set for a May 1, 2020 premiere, might not be released on its November 6 date.
The good news is we will still be seeing some characters from the MCU on the small screen. The Falcon and the Winter Soldier had its production halted but has started back up recently. It appears WandaVision is still on schedule. Marvel and Disney+ have released a new trailer for the upcoming show.
The show’s official description is as follows:
Welcome to WandaVision. Coming soon to Disney+. Marvel Studios’ captivating new series “WandaVision” stars Elizabeth Olsen and Paul Bettany, and marks the first series from Marvel Studios streaming exclusively on Disney+. The series is a blend of classic television and the Marvel Cinematic Universe in which Wanda Maximoff and Vision—two super-powered beings living idealized suburban lives—begin to suspect that everything is not as it seems.
As you can see at the end of the trailer, there isn’t an official release date just yet. It’s still listed as “coming soon.” A previous Disney+ trailer for programming being released in 2020 did include WandaVision. That means we’ll see the show by the end of the year.
A poster was also released to celebrate the trailer.

I’m sure it’ll be worth the wait. There are definitely some big questions as to what the heck is going on in the show and how can Vision even be there? We’ll find out “soon.”
