In case you’re craving more of Geoff Johns writing Batman after reading Batman: Three Jokers, DC Comics some good news for you. If you’ve read the two previous volumes of Batman: Earth One, you’ll be happy to know a third is on the way from Johns and artist Gary Frank.
In this latest volume, a gang of “highly organized” criminals armed with “the latest in military-grade weapons: flame-throwers, grenade-launchers and even tanks” has arrived in Gotham City. The gang claims they are funded by former district attorney Harvey Dent.
But…isn’t Harvey Dent dead in this version of Batman?
It’s up to Bruce Wayne (and Batman) to get to the bottom of the truth with the aid of Alfred, Jim Gordon, Waylon “Killer Croc” Jones, and the new Catwoman. Unfortunately Bruce may be a little distracted by another character seemingly returning from the dead–his grandfather Adrian Arkham.
If Harvey Dent is back and planning revenge, Batman’s world may start to unravel as he uncovers the truth to the mysteries surrounding him.
