Batman is about to have his hands full in a newly announced Black Label series featuring Killer Croc.
Batman often utilizes fear in order to combat the criminal element in Gotham City. It turns out Batman might not be the most frightening thing in Gotham. Garth Ennis (The Boys, Preacher) and Liam Sharp (The Green Lantern, Wonder Woman) will unleash a six-issue miniseries, Batman: Reptilian, in June.

Pretty much everyone is aware of the evil and murderous characters who inhabit Gotham City. It used to be Batman was the one thing driving fear into the hearts of the criminal element. Now there will be something even more frightening creeping around the shadows, savagely hunting Gotham’s villains.
Ennis and Sharp are the perfect team to weave a dark and creepy Batman story. Sharp’s art can be both beautiful and savage at the same time. You can see from the preview images above how easily Sharp creates a dark and ominous vibe. With this being a Black Label title, there is the opportunity to crank up the action and violence more than in a regular Batman comic.
Along with Sharp’s regular cover, there will also be a variant cover by Cully Hamner.

If Sharp’s and Hamner’s covers weren’t enough, you can also expect a 1-in-25 variant cover by Bill Sienkiewicz.
Batman: Reptilian #1 is on sale June 22, 2021. The 32-page book will have a $4.99 price and will be available in comic shops and digital retailers. Let your local comic shop know you want the title added to your pull list, especially if you’re in either variant.
