Space Force is coming back! The first season of the Netflix show consisted of ten episodes and starred Steve Carell, John Malkovich, Ben Schwartz, Tawny Newsome, Diana Silvers, Jimmy O. Yang, and Don Lake.
Carell played Mark R. Naird, a four-star general and decorated pilot, whose dream is to run the Air Fore. He found himself set to lead a newly formed sixth branch of the US Armed Forces–Space Force. Overseeing the new branch and working with some wacky scientists, including Malkovich, Naird was set with trying to rush an expedition team to the moon in order to achieve space dominance against other countries.
There was a bit of a cliffhanger, and I wasn’t sure if the show was coming back. Thank goodness I was wrong.
Netflix has released the poster and first look images for the upcoming season.

Season 2 of Space Force picks up with General Naird and his underdog team having to prove their worth to a new administration while dealing with interpersonal challenges. Will the group come together or fall apart under the pressure…? Space Force is only human after all.
Greg Daniels & Norm Hiscock are the co-showrunners, and Season 2 will consist of seven 30 minute episodes.
