It’s Unboxing Time!
This week we’re looking at the new release for the 1976 movie starring David Bowie–The Man Who Fell to Earth. This is the first time the movie has been released in 4K and Best Buy has an exclusive steelbook for the movie.
The movie is a pretty hard Rated R. David Bowie plays Thomas James Newton, an alien who comes to Earth in search of water for his dying planet. That’s kind of a really bad description. I promise it’s much more interesting that that.

The movie also had a recent 2022 follow up TV show starring Chiwetel Ejiofor, Naomie Harris, and Jimmi Simpson, which I discussed on the Random Podcast From Heck.
If you’re interested in adding this to your collection, you might want to jump on it as soon as possible. I was unable to order this online the week before it was released. After April 25, it still was unavailable for shipping and I had to pick it up at a store. The movie is a cult classic among Bowie fans, but I’m not sure how high of a production run they would put into this.
