This week’s movie feature is Lee Cronin’s The Mummy. I thought it was interesting but had a feeling “critics” would probably not like it. As always, take a listen and form your own opinion if you’re thinking about if you should see it. You can also hear about this year’s Record Store Day. This is when indie record stores get exclusive vinyls from artists to sell. Then, of course, we have more Daredevil: Born Again, Star Wars: Maul – Shadow Lord, Monarch: Legacy of Monsters, and the latest comic books and news.
Don’t forget about this wee’s bonus Secret Podcast From Heck (exclusively on Patreon) for more movie or comic talk.

Last week’s episode was an Off My Mind inspired by events in Daredevil: Born Again and recent comics about Vigilantes being outlawed. Sure, they’re taking the law into their own hands, but they often have abilities that allow them to apprehend villains easier and safer than the regular law enforcement. It also seems that by making vigilantes “illegal,” if they they saving someone from a burning building or getting a cat out of a tree, this would mean they could be arrested right there. But should they be allowed to take the law into their own hands whenever they feel they have the right or justification?
This week’s will feature another Silver Age look back featuring a prison for superpowered folk, an alien planet, and a pretty mean Batman.
