This week’s main movie feature is Digger directed by Alejandro González Iñárritu and starring Tom Cruise. The second movie feature is Linkin Park: Unshatter, the first movie presented entirely in ScreenX, if your fortunate enough to have a theater with ScreenX. (It was cool). We also have the penultimate episode of the first season of Lanterns plus the latest comic books and news.
Oh yeah, this marks the 475th episode. We’ve been here 475 weeks in a row.

Last week’s bonus podcast started a look back at The Secret Origin of Tony Stark from 2013’s Iron Man volume 4. I haven’t read it since it came out. After watching Avengers: Endgame last week, it reminded me how I always felt it was weird how Tony reacts when he talks to his father in the past and Howard mentions his wife is expecting.
In this story arc, it was revealed that Tony was adopted. If I remember correctly, this isn’t something that was ever mentioned in the MCU. That doesn’t mean it can’t be brought in. The idea is perhaps the reason Doctor Doom looks like Tony Stark is because in his reality, he wasn’t adopted by the Starks. He grew up and became Victor Von Doom.
This probably won’t happen, but we’ll have to wait and see. Until then, we’ll continue to revisit this story arc to figure out what was going on in the comic back then.
