There’s even more Agents of SHIELD coming our way.
Towards the end of Season 5, it wasn’t definite whether or not the Marvel show would get renewed for a sixth season. Days before the fifth season finale aired in May, Marvel announced the show would return for a 13-episode sixth season. The new season wouldn’t air until summer 2019.
If you follow the cast on Instagram, you know they’re already knee-deep in filming. There hasn’t been any word on what the coming season will deal with and whether or not every single cast member will return.
Today, Marvel has announced that a Seventh Season will be happening. As you can expect, that’s about all the information that is available.
What will the seventh (or sixth) season be about? Who cares as long as we’re getting more episodes? It’s been weird not having a current Marvel television show airing on ABC. It makes sense for the show to wait until after Avengers 4 is released since there is the question of what is going on in the Marvel Universe after the Thanos snap.
As soon as we get an official release date for Season 6, I’ll start counting down the days.
