Marvel just announced War of the Realms, and it despite saying it would involved all their heroes, the X-Men didn’t really make much of an appearance in the promo art. No need to worry because we’ll soon be entering the Age of X-Man.
What does that mean? We’re not really sure since Marvel excels at teasing upcoming events. In a press release, they stated, “The Age of X-Man dawns…and the X-Men cannot stop it. After the apocalyptic dissolution of the X-Men comes…AGE OF X-MAN!”
Along with this, six 5-issue miniseries have been announced. Some look a little weird.

First of all, what the heck happened to Colossus’ arm in The Marvelous X-Men? Will this consist of alternate reality stories, similar to Age of Apocalypse? I’m all for mixing things up once in a while to tell a compelling story. It’ll be interesting to see how this plays out and what repercussions this will bring to the X-Men’s corner of the Marvel Universe.
