Joshua Williamson Talks The Flash, Year One, And The Trickster At WonderCon

Joshua Williamson has been writing The Flash since the 2016 Rebirth series started. In the nearly 70 issues since, a lot has happened to Barry Allen. By the look of things, there’s plenty more coming from Williamson.

While currently wrapping up the Trickster storyline, which featured the return of James Jesse, it was recently announced that we’d be seeing a Year One story for Barry. Check out what Williamson had to say about the Trickster, the new forces besides the Speed Force, and what we can expect in the Year One story.

The Flash #68 is on sale this week. Will this be the end for Barry Allen? Maybe this is why we’re jumping back to Year One. You’ll definitely want to pick up the issue, which features Barry trying to put a stop to Trickster’s control over Central City. Year One starts in May’s issue #70.

  1. Why didn’t you ask him anything about the Force Quest(not the idea of forces) and Barry’s quest to be the fastest man alive again? We didn’t get a result/ending/closure with those things.

      1. I can’t blame you for Year One at least 🙂 I’ve just noticed that he just stopped talking about those even though he mentioned the importance of those things before. And not many people seem to care.
