It’s time to take a another look at a classic story set in the Dark Universe. The situations should look forward, but things quickly take a dark turn. The differences tend to snowball into a completely different story.
DC Comics has released a first look preview at how events during Infinite Crisis could have occurred in another fashion.

In the 2005-2006 seven-issue Infinite Crisis, we saw what happened after the original Crisis on Infinite Earths. Kal-L (the Superman of pre-Crisis Earth-Two), Lois Lane Kent, Alexander Luthor (pre-Crisis Earth-Three), and Superboy-Prime escaped from a pocket universe. This kicks off some mistrust and several deaths. We later saw the rise of Brother Eye and rebirth of the Multiverse. Ted Kord/Blue Beetle had knowledge that could have prevented certain tragedies, but he was brutally murdered before he could act.
In the Dark Multiverse, Blue Beetle survives and kills Maxwell Lord himself. This sets of a chain of events that changes the lives of the Justice League and Booster Gold. By trying to stop the crisis from happening, Blue Beetle becomes the Crisis.
The one-shot issue is written by James Tynion IV with art by Aaron Lopresti and Matt Ryan. Tales from the Dark Multiverse: Infinite Crisis #1 is on sale November 27 with a $5.99 price tag. Final Orders Due (FOC) October 28.
