The Suicide Squad are coming back in their own series, and who better to write about chaos and destruction than Tom Taylor? There will be some new members joining some familiar faces. Having new characters is always good since members of Task Force X don’t always have a long life expectancy. In other words, don’t get too attached.
“I love this group. But don’t get attached.” –Tom Taylor

As before, villains will be pulled together to go on missions as Task Force X for the powers that be. The missions tend to be extremely deadly and any death of members is seen as merely collateral damage.
Amanda Waller has been replaced by a mysterious new leader. Harley Quinn and Deadshot will have to figure out who they can trust amongst their new teammates, the Revolutionaries. (More information on the Revolutionaries can be found here).
Being in the Suicide Squad won’t be just about surviving the next mission. It’ll also be about trying to survive each other.
Suicide Squad #1 is on sale December 18, 2019. Final orders are due on November 25. The series is written by Tom Taylor with art by Bruno Redondo, colors by Adriano Lucas, and letters by Wes Abbott. The cover price is $4.99.
