It’s Adventure Unboxing Time!
This week’s unboxing celebrates the tenth anniversary of Adventure Time. Mondo has released a polystone statue featuring Finn the human and Jake the dog on top of a huge pile of treasure. Mondo released two different versions with the “exclusive” including a bonus figure. Any guesses who the third character might be, if you don’t already know? Actually, there is also another at the back of the pile as well.

I think I’m in love with this. This statue is massive and heavy. That also means it’s nice and sturdy. I was a little concerned the thinner parts, such as the arms, might be too delicate. The whole thing has a very nice solid feel. The detail and paint job are very nice. It’s almost as if they’ve popped out of the TV and have come to three-dimensional life.
I’m really glad I was able to get the exclusive version before it sold out. It looks like it is still available. It’s a little pricey so I guess that makes sense. I’m not sure how many were made, but those details don’t concern me too much. It really looks great sitting on display.
