James Tynion IV and Jorge Jimenez are on fire. They’ve been doing really cool things in the pages of Batman lately. The two have already introduced new characters such as Punchline, Clownhunter, Ghost-Maker, and The Designer. DC Comics is getting us ready to meet their latest creation–Miracle Molly.
In Batman #108, the Dark Knight has to go undercover to find out more about the sudden appearance of the transhumanist “Unsanity Collective.” While undercover, Batman will run into Miracle Molly. She’s the Collective’s second-in-command and is an genius engineer who can repair any kind of tech.
Besides dealing with Miracle Molly and uncovering the motives of the Unsanity Collective, Batman will also have figure out what the Scarecrow has planned for Gotham City after the events of “Arkham Day” as well as what Simon Saint has in store for A-Day survivor Sean Mahoney. Batman will need to determine how they connect to Mayor Christopher Nakano and the Magistrate.

Also featured in the issue is the second part of “Legend of the Ghost-Maker” by Tynion and artist Ricardo Lopez Ortiz. In this installment, Ghost-Maker has to face the horror of Kid Kawaii.
Batman #108 is on sale May 4. The 40-page issue will have a $4.99 price with the main cover by Jorge Jimenez. There will be a variant by Stanley “Artgerm” Lau as well as a 1-in-25 variant card stock cover by Robert Federici for $5.99.
