It’s Unboxing Time!
The 4K release of Sam Raimi’s Army of Darkness has finally arrived. If you watched the unboxing for the Evil Dead Groovy Collection, you might have been confused and/or angry over the fact that Army of Darkness wasn’t included. It just couldn’t be helped. That’s how things go when different people own distribution rights. What matters is now, we finally have the three movies in 4K. We also got a really nice steelbook for this release.

Yes, it’s groovy. Yes, it’s like someone gave you some sugar. It’s such a gorgeous package for a really fun movie. I recently watched it on HBO Max, but I can’t wait to check out the 4K transfer.
Don’t forget, with the steelbooks, they sometimes sell out. If you’re even considering picking this up, you might want to do it sooner rather than later in case it sells out. I’m not sure what the print run is on it. There was no way I could miss this edition.
