Last week’s Patreon exclusive episode was an Off My Mind one about how Ben Reilly is still being treated like garbage. His recent appearances had him actually helping out Peter Parker at his day job while Peter was stuck across the universe. Then Ben got super-petty because he would not get any credit for the work. He sabotaged an experiment which resulted his Peter’s (and essentially Ben’s) childhood friend and coworker getting injured in an accident and now is becoming a super-villain.
Ben is Peter’s clone. Peter is always making sacrifices for others. Ben’s behavior, including calling himself Chasm and doing all sorts of villainous things just does not make any sense.
This week will likely be a look-back at a classic Silver Age comic where Lois Lane goes into suspended animation so she can be married to her future husband since Superman won’t commit to her.
