It’s Unwrapping Time!
This time we’re checking out the new steelbook for the 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray release of Annihilation. You probably recall the movie came out back in 2018. You can hear about it discussed on the podcast episode from way back in the early days.
Seems opions on the movie are conflicted. I’ve seen on Reddit some people mention they didn’t dig it. It has a 88% Rotten Tomatoes score and a 67% Popcornmeter score. I listened to the audiobook and that makes me appreciate the movie more.
But we’re here to talk about the steelbook. Look at those gorgeous colors!
It’s a shame they weren’t able to continue the story from the books. As I mentioned in the video, it did feel like they veered a bit from it. Then the other books just continue even further.
