We’re back. The craziness has subsided a little.
There’s a crazy amount of comics released each week. Here’s a look at some of the strangest, coolest, and funniest things you might have missed in last week’s comics. Symbiote Spider-Man #1
Best Reason Not To Trust Windows At Mysterio’s Place

Spider-Man is on the trail of Mysterio. Tracking him down and cornering him at his current lair, Spider-Man soon finds he needs to make a hasty exit because Mysterio is going to blow the place up. Attempting to dive out a window, Spider-Man slams into a wall. Of course Mysterio would have fake windows creating the illusion of an actual one.
Batman #68
Best Reason (Not To) Drink Too Much Alien Wine

Catwoman and Lois Lane decide to end the bachelorette/catchelorette night at the Fortress of Solitude. They had already been drinking before got there and Lois raids Superman’s alien wine collection (since they were gifts and he doesn’t drink). Things get pretty crazy–crazier than them not knowing if they still have feet.
Spider-Man/Deadpool #49
Best Meta-Joke About The Fox/Disney/Marvel Merger Deal

Of course Deadpool is aware of the Fox/Disney merger which will result in the X-Men and Fantastic Four characters eventually being brought into the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Of course he would make a joke about it.
Scooby Apocalypse #36
Best Comment In Regards To The Person Responsible For Creating Pizza

The past 36 glorious may have featured an alternate version of Scooby and the gang in a post-apocalyptic world, but at least you can still count on some things such as Scooby and Shaggy’s love for food. While eating a stack of pizza, Shaggy suggests whoever invented pizza should’ve gotten the Nobel Prize.

Best New Costume For Fighting Frost Giants In Canada

The War of the Realms has begun, and Squirrel Girl is teleported back to her parents’ in Canada to fight Frost Giants. She wasn’t quite dressed for the cold weather, but thankfully her mom made her a new outfit perfect for the occasion.

Best Example That Even Kryptonian Super-Dogs Love Belly Rubs

Krypto’s been a very good boy on Supergirl’s latest adventures. He absolutely deserves a belly rub.

Best Team-Up You Never Thought You’d See

Old Man Logan feels his time in the present is coming to an end. Before returning to his own time, he arranges a meeting with the recently returned…modern aged Logan. They have a beer and naturally a fight breaks out in the bar, much to their delight.

Best Reason Some People Should Practice Hugging

Sometimes there’s nothing better than a good hug. Unfortunately, some people aren’t too skilled at giving a proper hug. Nadia experiences this and does her best to push through the pain.
War Of Realms: Journey Into Mystery #1
Best Attempt At Explaining The Spider-Verse

Miles Morales tries explaining to Balder, who has been in Hel recently, why he isn’t the Spider-Man they expected to find and the fact that there are a ton of other spider-people running around the various dimensions.

Jonathan Kent has been gone from Earth for years. He’s not a grown teenager. Upon getting rescued and brought back to Earth, he discovers that only three weeks have passed since he was gone.

More War of the Realms craziness. Frank Castle is apparently willing to share and allows Skurge to use one of his guns. They look so cute and happy fire guns at monstrous enemies.

Superman talks to Jayna about what it’s like to live on Earth. He says the most important power to have isn’t shapeshifting, flight, strength, or invulnerability. It’s about seeing everything wrong with the world and being able to continue fighting.

Aunt May delivers her bad news to Peter. Despite everything he’s gone through, he’s at a loss for what to do now.
