There are some great Marvel TV shows airing and exploring different characters. The unfortunate thing is these shows appear on different networks or streaming services. Despite being in the shared cinematic universe, it seems all we can get are mentions or Easter eggs for characters from other shows. That changes this December.
With the upcoming third season of Runaways, Marvel announced the gang will be running into Cloak and Dagger in a crossover episode.
This is something that fans have been asking for. It’s something press has also been asking for in the Cloak and Dagger pressrooms recently at WonderCon and Comic-Con as well.
Jeph Loeb, Executive Producer and Head of Marvel Television said:
“It’s so fun being able to do something that revels in the Mighty Marvel Manner! Having these young heroes crossover allows fans of both shows to see the adventure everyone has been waiting for and we’ve only hinted at.”
With the season 2 finale of Cloak and Dagger, the two hopped on a bus leaving New Orleans to save others across the country. Season 3 of Runaways will see the team searching for their captured teammates. They will end up facing Morgan le Fay, played by Elizabeth Hurley.
How the Runaways and Cloak and Dagger meet up has yet to be revealed. Runaways Season 3 premieres on Hulu on December 13. Previous seasons of both shows can also be seen on Hulu.
