Kate Bishop aka Hawkeye is returning to New York City. The last time we really saw her was in the recent (and very awesome) West Coast Avengers series written by Kelly Thompson. (Kate did have a cameo in the recent America Chavez miniseries).
If you’ve been missing the adventures of Kate, Marvel has announced a new series is coming this Fall.
Having spent some time in Los Angeles, Kate is making her way back to the east coast. She’ll soon find herself invited to a resort to solve the mystery of a jewel heist. A straight forward case could be what she needs to boost her confidence. Of course she and we can expect things to take a turn. Could this actually be a trap for Kate?
The creative team for the five-issue story includes New York Times best-selling author Marieke Nijkamp and artist Enid Balám.
Marieke Nijkamp told Bustle: “Because Kate’s story is in flux right now, it’s the perfect time to jump on board for the adventure. You don’t need to know where she was to enjoy the journey!”
