The Infinity Stones are taking center stage in the current Infinity Wars story arc. This is different from the past stories involving the Infinity Gems. As the stones have been gathered by various Marvel heroes, a new character is coming and bringing trouble with them.
The big question is: Who is Requiem?
The answer will be revealed this summer. Gerry Duggan and Mike Deodato Jr. are delivering an Infinity Stone that will “change the Marvel Universe.” We may have heard this sort of hyperbole from comic publishers before, but the characters currently wielding the stones will not be the same once the story is over.
Infinity Wars #1 is on sale August 1 and the second issue is available on August 15.
